Tiny Light Matteo | Waterloo Family Photographer

This past Tuesday morning I had my first Tiny Light session.  It was extremely hot out, but we didn’t mind...we had a fantastic time :)

Meet Matteo, a special Tiny Light.

When I spoke to Matteo’s mum on the phone, she said “all we want is a nice family photo, one with all three of us having a good time." 
They do not have many photos of Matteo's first year because he was in the hospital.  I hope you enjoy the photos…there are a lot.

He loves trains, in particular Chuggington, he is super cool in his shades, loves to dance, chase bubbles, is very bright, and has two amazing parents.  He is your typical, very happy (almost) 2 year old, full of energy and laughter.  It is hard to tell that Matteo has spent the first 10 months of his life in the hospital.  

Today, Thursay June 2^nd, Matteo will be having another operation.  His parents are looking forward to his speedy recovery as they have a full summer planned of ‘firsts’ for the family.  His mum said she never really felt like she had a ‘real’ maternity leave, as most of it was spent in the hospital.  This summer, she will be taking a leave from work to make up for it.  She is looking forward to Matteo getting dirty while making mud pies in the dirt, not having to worry about infections.  She is looking forward to taking him to swimming lessons and to the splash park.  They are hoping to take him to see Sesame Street, and especially looking forward to him running around outside with no shirt on.

Thinking of you today Matteo.  You are a strong little boy who has gone through so much at such a young age.  Wishing you a fast recovery so you can enjoy this summer.
