Special K | Waterloo Newborn Photographer

'Special K', no I didn't make that one up, her mom did.  She is only a couple weeks old and already has quite a few nick names!  Her older brother (an avid hockey and football fan :) was great with her.  I just love the photo of him reading to her in his bedroom :)

There are a few things I found out about 'Special K'.... 

1) she loves to be swaddled 

2) daddy can put her to sleep no problem 

3) she'd rather lay beside her dog than on my bean bag chair :)

You would think it would have been a little hectic in this household with a 2 1/2 year old, and 2 1/2 week old twin boys.  But no, everything was under control, there was a lot of help and mom looked relaxed and had everything under control!
These twins were so curious and wanted to watch everything that was going on for the entire shoot, I don't think they shut their eyes for more than 5 minutes (at different times of course). 
Talia is going to be a great big sister to her brothers, you can already see it!  Congratulations and enjoy your sneak peek.

2010 CONTEST

2010 has been a fantastic year!  I have met some awesome people, captured precious memories, and was part of many very important events. 

I wanted to thank my clients somehow.  I thought about it for a few weeks – actually, it's been on my mind for a few months.  I knew I wanted to give away something that they can look at, something that will make them smile.

So, I decided to do a GIVEAWAY on facebook for an 11x14 CANVAS print.

The contest started December 1st, and the response has been overwhelming.  I have since added 2nd and 3rd place prizes ($75 and $50 off 2011 session fees) because they are working hard to gather LIKES.  It is much appreciated :) 

I have enjoyed staying home with my three boys for over five years now, and have been doing photography seriously for two years (wow...two years!!) and word of mouth has been my only means of advertising.  Now I am looking to grow and get my name out there as all of my little men will be in school next year which means I will have more time for PHOTOS!!!!

I want to thank ALL of my clients.  Have I mentioned I LOVE WHAT I DO?!
