I had so much fun spending my morning with these little ladies.  First off, the location was AMAZING.  Their house is full of so much natural light, it is a photographers dream!  Second, these girls had the cutest outfits.  I loved the matching sunflower dresses.  Third, a huge thanks to Diane and Courtney for entertaining the girls and helping me out a little (the music, dancing, clapping, the bells, gold fish, etc).

 

  

  

  

  

  

   

  

  

  

Andrea + Rod

Meet Andrea and Rod, my two very good friends.  They are getting married soon, and I cannot wait for their wedding!  We braved the cold this past Saturday morning, hit 3 different spots and had a blast.  Oh, can't forget to mention their baby...Scout!  He is such a good dog.

Why????  Because this is where it all began.

Baby Owen....

Congrats to Steph and Shawn on their first child.  I must say....I LOVE the name :)  Little Owen is only two weeks old, and ADORABLE!!  Ohh....do I love shooting newborns, they are just so darn cute.  Here is a little sneak peek.  I am still editing, but I had to get to a few of my favs....

Little Ewan...

I had the pleasure of shooting little Ewan this past Sunday.  Ewan is an extremely happy 7 month old, which makes my job easy.  Thanks for trusting me, and venturing out to the tracks.  It was gloomy outside, and it had been calling for rain all week.  We got there and had about 5 minutes of shooting before the rain came.  Thankfully, we found shelter.  Enjoy the sneak peek!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

New Years Resolutions???

I was sitting at the kitchen table at the cottage with my husband talking about things, and then he asked..."Do you have any New Years Resolutions?"  "Nah, not really" I said.  (just a few more pieces of photog equipment and stuff, but I kept that to myself). 
Then he gave me my early birthday present....A TRIP TO PARIS (and, NO, not Paris, Ontario! and YES, BEST husband ever!!!). 
Then it hit me, This year I plan to travel more.  Yes, I have 3 kids, so it will be more difficult b/c we'll need to find babysitters or pay more to to have the come with us...but I'm feeling the itch to get out there more.  We have been to Great Wolf Lodge this year already (that counts, non?).  I'm heading to Paris this Thursday, Cuba in April and Jamaica (for a wedding) later this year (Oct-Novemberish).  Oh, and my university friends want to plan another getaway (last year was NYC, this year may be Holland Landing! :).

Workshop today!

Well, I am just getting back into the swing of things.  Today I went to a wonderful photography workshop in Toronto, met a lot of photogs and of course, business cards were exchanged.  It was a fun filled day and discovered a lot of new things.  Looking forward to some more workshops this year :)
