New Years Resolutions???

I was sitting at the kitchen table at the cottage with my husband talking about things, and then he asked..."Do you have any New Years Resolutions?"  "Nah, not really" I said.  (just a few more pieces of photog equipment and stuff, but I kept that to myself). 
Then he gave me my early birthday present....A TRIP TO PARIS (and, NO, not Paris, Ontario! and YES, BEST husband ever!!!). 
Then it hit me, This year I plan to travel more.  Yes, I have 3 kids, so it will be more difficult b/c we'll need to find babysitters or pay more to to have the come with us...but I'm feeling the itch to get out there more.  We have been to Great Wolf Lodge this year already (that counts, non?).  I'm heading to Paris this Thursday, Cuba in April and Jamaica (for a wedding) later this year (Oct-Novemberish).  Oh, and my university friends want to plan another getaway (last year was NYC, this year may be Holland Landing! :).

Workshop today!

Well, I am just getting back into the swing of things.  Today I went to a wonderful photography workshop in Toronto, met a lot of photogs and of course, business cards were exchanged.  It was a fun filled day and discovered a lot of new things.  Looking forward to some more workshops this year :)

This past SNOWY week

Alright....sure...we have twin boys who are now 4.5 years old now.   I thought it was wonderful....they'd help us a lot when they got older.  Well...was I wrong!!!  Our youngest, who is  2.5 years old helps us out a lot more than the twins!!!  Gavin is a determined little boy, and no one will get in his way.

Christmas...

I have been pretty busy with Christmas photos.  Here is a session with my good friend Jill and family.  These cute, adorable children are throughout my blog...you may recognize them.  I have been trying out new things, different backdrops, different actions in editing, playing around with sharpening.  This day, we went with white....crisp, clean and simple!

A few more...

I just wanted to add a few more for Kate.  I finished up editing tonight...I was playing around with some new 'actions' and 'presets'.  As you can see, she was a very good little model for me :)

 

 

 

Two adorable sisters...

It's always fun shooting this age group.  I loved watching them interact with each other.  B was such a mother to her younger sister.  These girls are adorable...check out their eyes...Beautiful.  I hope you enjoy your sneak peek Kate!
