Happy Boy | Waterloo Photographer

This little boy was such a 'ham' for the camera.  He was full of smiles, energy and extremely happy!  I loved how he would chase his cat with that huge smile and drool, cuddle and lay on top of him...and the cat was more than willing to put up with it.


I just love this first photo, makes me smile!!!

Fun in the Snow | Waterloo Family Photography

I had the pleasure of mentoring another photographer, Jason, last week.  We spent the day chatting about photography, shooting and editing...it was fun.  I wanted to make sure we shot both inside and outdoors, but I was a little worried we wouldn't get outdoors because it was pouring the day before.  Doing a photo shoot in the rain can be fun, but it was just ugly out (cold, windy, dark and a lot of rain).  Thankfully, the next day it was snowing, which made for some fun shots.
These kids were so cute with each other.  I love the shot of them lying down and giggling.

Baby C | KW Newborn Photography

Last week, I traveled to Toronto for this newborn shoot to photograph Baby C.  Such an adorable little girl at 9 days old.  I love the first photo of her in the bonnet.  It was her moms when she was a baby :)  She was awake for our shoot, awake and very happy!!!

Double J | Waterloo Family Photography

I LOVE photographing twins!!!  Partly because I've experienced it myself, and partly because they are so darn cute!
This photo shoot brought back so many memories.  The way mom and dad worked together to get things done, the way the boys pulled each others hair, chewed each others ears, hands etc, and the ease mom showed holding two babies at once (it's really not that hard :)
My twins are 6 now and are the best of friends.  These little guys are 7 months old and you can tell they have that special twin bond already.
